say "hola" to margarita and alien - 2 new additions to our family that a sweet friend made for runa and mars before we left. these special friends quickly made their way into the hearts and beds of los niños.
only 1 drake and 1 louie got to come to mexico. snowball and digger made it, too. now margarita and alien complete the family. we hope.

needed for our kite making: trash bags, pipe cleaner, yarn, sticks, and a damn good daddy
> > potluck on the beach <
we trecked through town and then through the jungle to get to playa de los muertos for koruna's school potluck on the beach. the journey - a short walk for some - was maddening wth 2 hungry kids and a city stroller. we sang lots of "old macdonald" and played several rounds of our tried and true, "i spy".
but once we got there, it was awesome.
