my children have some very special friends. i posted about that here a while back. koruna has drake. marvel has louie. with time each special friend has become more tattered, more lumpy, more loved. And they have each duplicated themselves. we of course have backup drakes and backup louies. we're no fools. but at some point along the way, each of our kids discovered their backup. koruna found drake #2 in my closet and marvel found louie #2 in the washing machine. the discoveries presented neither of my children with an existential crisis as i had feared. they were each thrilled. mars ran around naked for 15 minutes yelling "2 LOUIE! 2 LOUIE!".
recently, runa styled a photo shoot with all of the special friends. 2 drakes, 2 louies, and colin and kiefer (drake's mom and dad). it was a little racy. she's good.
we are trying to do a better job of keeping drake #3 and louie #3 well hidden...
